Time for a dining room tour. This space is really special. We did a ton of custom design in this room from the wallpaper to the carpet and then dramatic custom draperies that give the room a truly stunning accent. We used neutral tones complimented with beautiful soft pinks and blues throughout the entire home and I think it worked very well to create a warm, welcoming feel.

White beds always look fresh. And they go with any color palette. We used a beautiful blue as our feature color throughout the room. Having a bright, white foundation is a simple way to do to create a clean look.

From the walls to the china I love helping my clients with every detail of their home. I think keeping a consistent design and aesthetic to all of the features in a home makes it feel more complete. It’s the tiny details that can really make the biggest impact. I feel that having beautiful china elevates the meal, even if you don’t entertain (but especially if you do). Bobby and I are always complimented on our dishware and tablescapes, I think beautiful dining pieces elevate the collected, layering approach and just adds so much to a space… and events.

A little more of this stunning property. We drew inspiration from the deco period since the home was built then. I always say the exterior of the home should always match the interior. I absolutely love the beautiful soft tones in this space and the drama of the black @chesneysusa fireplace. But, there’s also the stunning fabrics on the chairs. It all just came together perfectly. Custom, custom, custom. From the fabrics to the carpet this room was specifically created for my incredible client. We will talk about the fabulous custom rug later (stay tuned) but today it’s all about this dreamy bedroom. The bed is the focal point— we used a muted pink tone throughout the entire space to make it the perfect retreat for my clients. Today we are hanging some amazing pieces in a house we’ve been working on for some time now. We love using art as a focal point in bathrooms—it makes the space feel like part of the home and integrates the style of the rest of the space, so it all tells a cohesive story.

Lighting is the an amazing accent to any design. ✨Pieces should be selected to go with the room and the space and doesn’t need to be sets or all the same. Stunning pieces of art that add to the overall ambiance of the room. Like a statement earring. A final kiss of completion.

Custom custom custom. Last post I talked about custom rugs and carpets being my signature on design work. We try and use that stamp everywhere, even in our cars! I think having these little details in my spaces just add to the design and function but most importantly— the joy of any space.

This historical home was completely renovated. This project was truly incredible and remains one of my favorite.

Details:

In the living room- the navy silk velvet sofa provides a luxe anchor, walls are covered in a soft pink silk from @phillipjeffriesltd.

Her office- soft color palette and subtle Chinoiserie details with walls upholstered in a Schumacher linen print.

His office- a quiet retreat. Pulling the same color scheme from the rest of the interior.

Fabrics make the design! We love taking color inspiration from fabric. When Bobby and I were shopping we fell in love with a beautiful blue throw from Cartier and that sparked a whole project for us. Combine that with our love of this beautiful @schumacher1889 fabric and a whole new room is about to be born.

Let’s talk wall styling! Something I get asked a

Let’s talk wall styling! Something I get asked a lot is how to hide a TV. If you’re really concerned you can purchase a frame TV but I think there are arty ways to design around it and take attention away from it. We often use a “reverse triangle” process and hang art or decor with the largest pieces at the top to frame the whole space and make it feel collected.

We are true fans of collected homes. Allowing your space to change and evolve over time so it is a true representation of you, your style and your life. How fun to walk into a room and see a variety of things that remind of you certain times, people and places from your life?!
