The owners of this luxury sailing yacht from Numarine gave Todd clear objectives for the interior. Their vision, intended for extended periods away, was of a floating beach house with all the comforts of home, including plenty of clever storage throughout. Elegant and refined, the color palette recalls the hues of a magnificent sunset over the ocean. Having worked together previously on two homes, Todd thoroughly understands the clients’ lifestyle, desire for bespoke detail, and appetite for change. In a reflective stage, they named the yacht “Chapter Three” to acknowledge their lives now with adult children. The resulting scheme, with subtle nautical details, includes custom furniture designed by Todd. Once complete, everything was air-freighted to the Numarine shipyard in Turkey where all the interior components were installed in a record four months and in time for the clients to sail from Istanbul to St. Tropez.
