Cottage Charm

“A wow factor can come from a space that is dramatic or cozy, or pretty, or rich. Whatever it is, you are compelled to go be in it.”

An established residential neighborhood is the site for a couple’s new “in-town” home. They wanted an easy, comfortable place to stay when away from their 400-acre horse farm and an unusually small lot offered the ideal opportunity. The exterior nicely blends into the character of the locale and a walled courtyard and water feature provide privacy. Todd designed both the floor plan and the interior, which is imbued with refined detail and sophisticated charm. The alluring “Plum Blossom” de Gournay wallcovering and Empire furniture add flair to the intimate dining room. The bedrooms offer sanctuary in contrasting color palettes of blue and orange.
